Cookie Policy
ZeroStress.net is designed to use as few cookies and similar browser technologies as practical.
Essential session cookies
The contact form may use a temporary server-side session cookie. The session supports security controls such as cross-site request forgery protection and rate limiting.
The planning tools and self-reflection quizzes do not require an account cookie to calculate results.
Tool inputs
Text entered into client-side tools is processed in the browser. The site does not need to place that text into a cookie in order to calculate the result.
Analytics
The application contains an optional Google Analytics 4 integration that is disabled unless it is deliberately enabled in the server configuration.
If analytics is enabled on the live site, any consent mechanism required for the visitor's location should be configured before non-essential analytics storage is used.
ZeroStress should not deliberately send the contents of free-text tool fields as analytics events.
Advertising
The application also contains a disabled-by-default Google AdSense layer. Advertising support in the code does not mean advertising is active on the live site.
Before AdSense is enabled, the live privacy and consent setup should be reviewed for the countries in which ads will be served. Advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies and the choices available to the visitor.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you delete or block cookies through their privacy settings. Blocking essential session cookies may prevent the contact form from working correctly, but it should not prevent normal client-side tools from calculating results.
Changes
This policy should be updated if the site's actual cookie or storage behaviour changes.
Questions can be sent through the contact page.
