We publish for a clear user purpose

Every public page should help someone do or understand something specific. A page should not exist simply because a search term is available.

Tool pages should explain what the tool calculates or organises, what information it needs, how the result is produced, and what the result cannot establish.

Guides should answer a distinct practical problem and connect naturally to a useful tool where one exists.

Authorship and responsibility

ZeroStress.net content is currently published under the ZeroStress.net name rather than individual author bylines.

We take responsibility for explaining tools clearly, describing calculations accurately, checking important factual claims and correcting errors when they are identified. If individual contributors, reviewers or subject specialists are added in the future, we will identify their role accurately where it is relevant to the content.

Factual claims require appropriate support

Important factual claims should be checked against reliable sources. The preferred order is government agencies, universities, scientific institutions, standards organisations, primary research and recognised professional organisations.

Where a meaningful health or medical claim appears, the page should name and link to an appropriate source when the source helps readers evaluate the claim.

We do not use AI-generated text as factual evidence.

Health-content boundary

ZeroStress is not a medical service. Its tools do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, recommend medication changes or determine medical risk.

Health-related information is provided for general informational purposes and should be supported by appropriate sources where factual claims require them. Visitors should consult a doctor or another qualified healthcare professional for advice about their own health, symptoms, diagnosis or treatment.

Writing standards

Copy should use plain language and complete sentences. We avoid exaggerated promises, generic motivational language, manufactured urgency and claims that a simple tool can remove stress from someone’s life.

Examples should make the method easier to understand rather than exist only to increase page length.

Corrections and updates

If a factual error, formula error or misleading explanation is identified, we should correct the underlying problem. We do not change a “last updated” date simply to make unchanged material look fresh.
