This Privacy Policy explains how ZeroStress.net handles information when you use the website.
ZeroStress is designed to collect as little personal information as practical. Most planning tools process what you enter directly in your browser and do not send those entries to our server.
Tool and quiz inputs
Text entered into tools such as Brain Dump, Overwhelm Sorter, Decision Helper and similar browser-based utilities is processed locally in your browser for the purpose of producing the result shown on the page.
ZeroStress does not require an account to use these tools, and the site does not intentionally store those tool entries on the server.
Do not enter information that you would not want visible on your own device or screen.
Contact form information
If you use the contact form, you provide a name, email address, subject and message. That information is transmitted to the server so that the message can be delivered and answered.
Contact messages may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain a record of the correspondence, handle reported errors or protect the website from abuse.
Please do not send sensitive medical, financial, legal or other confidential personal information through the contact form.
Cloudflare Turnstile
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile when production keys are configured. Turnstile helps distinguish legitimate form submissions from automated abuse. Using the protected form may therefore involve requests to Cloudflare and processing associated with the anti-abuse check.
Server logs
Like most websites, the hosting infrastructure may create technical logs when pages are requested. These logs can contain information such as an IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or user-agent information, response status and security-related events.
Server logs are used for operation, security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention rather than to store the content entered into client-side planning tools.
Analytics
ZeroStress includes a disabled-by-default analytics integration. If analytics is enabled, the Privacy Policy should continue to describe the provider actually configured on the live site.
The application currently supports optional Google Analytics 4 through server configuration. The site should not deliberately send the contents of Brain Dump entries, task lists, decision factors or similar tool fields as analytics events.
Advertising
The site contains a disabled-by-default advertising layer so that Google AdSense can be added later without rebuilding page templates. Advertising is not active merely because the code supports it.
If advertising is enabled, this policy and any required consent controls should be reviewed and updated before the advertising code is activated for visitors.
Cookies and local browser storage
ZeroStress does not need an account cookie for normal tool use. The contact form may use a temporary session cookie for security features such as cross-site request forgery protection and rate limiting.
Third-party services such as analytics, anti-spam systems or advertising may use cookies or similar technologies when those services are enabled. Their use should be reflected in the live consent and privacy configuration applicable to the visitor's location.
Data sharing
ZeroStress does not sell personal information collected through the contact form.
Information may be processed by service providers that are necessary to operate the website, such as hosting, email delivery, anti-spam or security services. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or where reasonably necessary to protect the website, its users or others from abuse or unlawful activity.
Children
ZeroStress is intended as a general-purpose website rather than a service designed specifically for children. The site does not knowingly ask children to create accounts or submit profiles.
Security
Reasonable technical measures are used to reduce unnecessary collection and protect forms and server-side processing. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
This policy should be updated when the site's actual data practices change. A revision date should reflect a genuine policy change rather than an automatic freshness update.
