How to read the result
The tool shows arithmetic, not value. A subscription that costs 200 per year may still be worthwhile if you use it heavily. The useful question is whether each recurring charge still earns a place in your budget.
Example
Six subscriptions costing 9.99, 14.99, 7.99, 19.99, 5.99 and 12.99 add up to more than their individual prices suggest when viewed across a full year. Testing two cancellations shows the exact annual reduction.
What to watch for
- Use the same billing frequency. Convert annual or quarterly plans to monthly equivalents before entering them.
- Check whether a cancellation creates a replacement cost elsewhere.
