How to See Where Your 168-Hour Week Goes

A week contains 168 hours.

That number is fixed. The way those hours are distributed is not.

When a week feels full, people often focus on the most visible category, usually work. However, caring responsibilities, commuting, household tasks, sleep, appointments and recurring obligations can consume large blocks of time without appearing together in one place.

Start with the categories that consume large blocks
